Rousseau in the 19th century encounters resistance to his proclamations that like we have to think about health, population health and individual health as component of population health. And he describes the resistance to this as quote, our politics were those of prophylaxis, our opponents preferred those of palliation or whatever. So what's an eye for sod thinks is actually happening? Right. But then, you know, around the same time, you have what, like Rousseau and other people writing about how health is a matter of education and like the edge educated individual. It's the same shit.
