Futurism and Dispensationalism
Futurism is found throughout church history. From the fourth and sixth, fifth century forward, through the middle ages,. You have some kind of marginal monastic a groups that kind of embraced it. During the reformation, you had various anabaptists and huguenots and the bohemian brethren, largely the english puritans. There is a big movementa kind of a return to futurism in that and then some in the german pietist movement. And so modern evangelicalism has really kind of pushed a a blended futurism plus praterism together.
