The Golden Gap Episode

Moses and Aaron fall on their faces in front of the assembly. They say, the land which we pass through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. And then he warns in verse nine, only don't rebel against the Lord for they shall be our prey. The congregation picked up stones to stone them. So Israel has moved all the way now. In fact, this, this speech made absolutely no impact upon the people. It seems to have pushed them even further into rebellion.
