How Was It Received in Canada?
Most of us, after we heard about the different prosecution agreement, assumed there would be some kind of base saving effort it. And so as julian pointed out, one of them had been already gone through their trial and sentence - he was serving his 11 years. The other had gone to trial and not yet received their sentence. And they were both apparently released on bail. So it was kind of shocking that everyone said, oh, the response was essentially, oh, china's not even pretending any more.
