All Blacks Head Coach - Who Doesn't Want the Job?
A big point of discussion during this process has been less about who wants to apply. It's more about who doesn't want the job. Joe Schmidt was considering applying for the head coaching role. Dave Renney, who he helped alongside Wayne Smith take the Chiefs to their first Super Rugby titles, recently sacked by the Wallabies. There's other people out there, but when you're looking at the All Blacks, there's actually not that many candidates that you would consider would be in the mix to be the head coach.
