The Police Tracked the Phones of Regan and Hahncy
After Regan had been caught six weeks after he had been caught William Hahncy voluntarily came forward and gave himself up to the police. Now all three men were in police custody but none of them spoke a word that would prove useful against them. According to detective Raoul once Regan had decided to kill Amajit it was obvious to him that he also had to kill the entire family. If Nancy was going to be killed her mother needed to be killed and of course the kids would have to be killed too. These murders meant as little to Regan as changing his shirt said Detective Raoul.
