i realize pretty quickly that single ingredient grocery items are always going to be the cheapest. So i built my meals around those ingredients and try to avoid things that are pre packaged, or the more expensive ingredients like meat, nuts and cheese. You can still use those, but you have to just be very, a careful about how you use em and not go overboard in your recipes. Yes, i know people always think that eating healthy is really expensive. But that's only if you're like, focusing on those trundy super foods. If you stick to just simple vegetables, whole grains, really simple ingredients, it's so healthy, and its so inexpensive.
