The Rhetoric of the Biden Administration

Bidenomics is the rhetoric of a new Washington consensus for countries in the global south. But behind that, I find what we had on your show before then this idea of the Wall Street consensus is very much hardwired in there. The Biden administration so far, I have not seen talking about technology transfers in a way the China D technology transfer. So I don't think there is much at stake there except for green extractivist of and even there I'm not sure because how is a green hydrogen project in Namibia going to compete with the massive subsidies in green hydrogen?
