The White House's Decision to Ban TikTok

The president got stopped when he tried to ban it through the courts. The way that system is set up creates a vulnerability where the Chinese Communist government has access to the data of 100 million American users. And so that's why we have to pass a bill that addresses that, but all it does is basically codify the powers the administration already has. I started talking about this in 2019. So this is not a new issue for me.
