Newcastle United's Ruthlessness Is Impressive
I am pleasantly surprised how Eddie Howe is doing at Newcastle because, lest we forget, he's an English manager. When England just get bigger jobs, they tend not to do that well. So far, the trajectory has all been upwards, isn't it? And this appears to be continuing in that trend. The ruthlessness with which they put Villa aside is impressive. It'll be concerned for a lot of other clubs who are trying to get into the Champions League or thinking Europa League places. I didn't think Jim would get on board with any of that.
