The Moral Law Within Is a Mixed Blessing
Every moral system involves at least some of the six foundations, but not in the same combinations or degrees. Different groups draw on different foundations. This theory explains why two groups that both have strong moral values can each perceive the other as lacking in morality. Demonizing another group as a moral is precisely what licenses us to commit aggression against them under the name of justice.
