Saddam thought he being Saddam. That's what he could leverage. And therefore he was going to try to I think set up for a war of attrition. He assumed the West and the Americans in particular would avoid high numbers of casualties. We were at armor brigade, a tamper brigade, to go in very quickly, react and create chaos that his soldiers were not trained for. They don't have the discipline for it. And they don't really have the culture for it. The American Army is one of our big strength is our ability to empower junior leaders,. well trained leaders, well led units all the way from a squad into brigades and divisions.
