In 19 77, doctor lois lee was a young university research assistant. She straddled both worlds while living a dream of parties and excitement. Her academic work brings her into contact with the most vulnerable people in society. To those in law enforcement, the darker side of ale was oa. It's the perfect place for deviants to slip through the cracks. For many, the city of angels could be a living hell. And i think much of my fight for these girls was trying to reconcile in my own mind that society was good and that we were all treated equal. And it just wasn't true.
