The Challenges of a Copper Shortage for EVs
Mark Royce says GM has done a good job of forming joint ventures, buying stakes in mines and securing access to these minerals. That'll basically give them enough materials to make the batteries, to make the EVs going out, I think, through 2026 and in some cases beyond. But they're going to be in this game of racing through either innovation or mining deals to make sure they're getting the right stuff at a decent price.
