The Impact of the Labor Fight on Corporate Profits
I think we're getting close to that. I've started to see some signals in earnings reports this past quarter that companies are making improvements in productivity enhancement. So I wouldn't be surprised if next year is marked by a period of slightly increasing margins and getting a little bit of upside on the earnings. It's always, of course, tough to time these things point to point. But I think we're really struggling for some fuel here. Not much reason to be overly pessimistic. Stocks look relatively fairly priced to me.
