The first place I was going to start then was with that distinction. So obviously as I go back to the 18th century, I'm going to be looking at were there evil exchanges as it was? Yes, there were. And is there anywhere in literature that either they or others were working on this, working these ideas out? And so conversely, did this affect the way that they thought about evolution and did the way thatthey thought about evolution reflect the kind of stuff that was being written? Well, it turned out terrific.
