Donald Trump was viewed and respected as a billionaire businessman before he became president. Once he went partisan in America, well, he loses all respect by 50%. That's the way it goes. If Oprah ran for president, she would lose 50% respect on the other side too. The director of the CIA is basically a career bureaucrat hired on early into a large government agency who spent 20 plus years there moving up the ladder.
