In 2020 in the lead up to the 2020 election radio station wwj and Detroit reported that Detroit residents were receiving that call. Tens of thousands of these calls were placed all to majority black majority democratic voting areas. The FCC unanimously recommended they should pay more than $5 million as a fine for having sent those calls to black voters in advance of the 2020 election.
