Is There Any Cantango on the WTI Curve?
The WTI curve should be steeply in backwardation. The fact that it's even a couple pennies in cantango at the front of the curve already grabs your attention because it shouldn't happen at all. This shouldn't be nowhere near the WTI curve. And again, I didn't put it on the chart and I probably should have. It's all consistent with what we're seeing across all of these markets.
