When Moses was leading the Israelites through the desert, they didn't have any water to drink. God told Moses to gather everyone around a big rock and strike it with his staff. When he did, water came flowing out of the rock in the middle of the desert. One reason Moses didn't make it into the promised land is he was operating on old software.
