CNN's John Avlon says he doesn't think Merrick Garland knew indicting Trump on this or any other stuff would help him in a general election and make it more likely he would beat Joe Biden. He said the indictment helps them in the primary and then they want to get the trials right right away and before the election because they assume a conviction would hurt him in ageneral so it works on every level for them. But polls don't necessarily indicate that you saw all these these smaller polls Trump's winning,Avlon added.
