Is the Higgs Boson Really Heavy?

People thought there was a collider in Geneva before the Large Hadron Collider. But they didn't find it, so they built the bigger one. The Higgs boson started to pop up right on the edge of where the LHC could have seen it. CERN decided to shut it down after seeing evidence but not compelling enough for them to change their program.
