Introduction
The history of Auschwitz is exceptionally complex. It combined two functions, a concentration camp and an extermination center in gas chambers. The anti-Germanic persecuted various groups of people there. Dr. Piotzetkiewicz talks about the situation of Polish and Jewish prisoners in the camp. Using its entire existence, slightly over 400,000 people were registered at Auschwitz as prisoners.
