The Role of Stereotypes in Layoffs
CNN's Nina dos Santos spoke with women who were laid off by tech companies. Many of them said they had been out of work for a while and didn't know how to get back into the workforce. Dos Santos: Employers still put childless single men up on a pedestal as ideal employees. She says it's hard not to wonder if those stereotypes played any role in the layoffs themselves.
