It was a brilliant tournament. The players were sort of in the rhythm already, I guess we'll never really know for sure. But what we saw on the pitch was fantastic. And it's a shame. It would have been a huge, huge thing if FIFA did that but you can never expect too little of FIFA. Unfortunately, what we've got in Gianni Infantino is someone who has no understanding of how the calendar needs to change. He's going to partly just his demands are going to partly justify club football saying, we can't be having this. When really everyone needs to give a bit, no one's given a bit. This simply is too much club football.
