The Civic Role of the Museum

Museums are rethinking their purpose in the community, how they're using objects to engage differently with their visitors. In every case, we ask the museum to choose one object that sums up the way in which theyre now addressing a particular question or a particular part of the community. And in 20 museums, we now have 20 objects, and the curators talking about the object,. Members of the public talking about what it means to them  and how they now see the museum as part of theCommunity for the future.
