Is Consent the Only Defense?
The issue of consent is so important that it basically devolves into something approximating marriage by necessity. The real sexual revolutionary was Jesus who absolutely equalized the sexes as regards our sexual expectations. In Matthew chapter 19 men must commit themselves to one woman and to their children for life. No casual sex, no hookup culture, no playing the field, no sex before marriage, no sex outside marriage, you can't commit adultery in marital doors are locked and no one gets out alive. But here's an open question like I really wonder I really think this might be true. Marriage is consent. That's what marriage means.
