The Sinister Image of Nietzsche
I am no Nietzsche scholar. But one thing I have read is that much of what we think we know about his work, early 20th century German editions of his work were edited by his sister who really was a fascist. And she posthumously edited him and kind of curated his image in such a way as to make him seem like her,. which is to say a pro-German bigot. He just found it very sad that people had a ready-made reason not to read him and not to take him seriously.
