The Importance of Bowling in Australia
Australia's first stretch wasn't good, number 26 when the first rain delay hit and they did not bowl well. Cummins was attacking the stumps and trying to get leg before we could saw bowls Taking advantage I suppose of the slow surface,. but very shortly it was back to one slip in a galley in the field spread. The most important part of the day came after lunch when Australia got the chance to bowl.
