Sally Kohn: I think what is unfortunate about where the Supreme Court went in a ultimately a compromise opinion that was internally self contradictory and under was this diversity rationale, just as O'Connor even said, well, I think it's okay today, but not 25 years from now. But when you're at a selective college again by definition as an admissions officer you are discriminating. You're saying you get in but you don't, you know, for whatever basket of reasons and you don't. So then there's well there's permissible discrimination, which is sort of the day to day,. you know, admissions world. And then there's impermissible discrimination, but let's clear being
