Mask Mandates - Why Are Democrats So Resistant to Them?

So why are elected officials so resistant to mask mandates? There's a long history of business opposition to mask wearing. We we see, right after nine 11, workers told not to wear masks because it would scare the public. So there's these pushers who want to normalize whatever hazard people are living through and i think we're seeing that again. And part of the normalization is thi gull to get people back to work or shopping.
