How to Scale a Lab Grown Hamburger
In 2013 Google co-founder Sergei Bren spent $330,000 to fund the creation of a lab grown hamburger. Costs have come down significantly since then but scaling them to consumer production remains a challenge. Success would depend on converting meat eaters from eating traditionally raised red meat or meat in general into a lab grown burger.
