What if Someone Is Being Abusive?

When social media applications were first built, they didn't really think so much about what if someone is sending hateful messages. But in the last ten years, pretty much all the major social media companies have tried to figure out how to deal with abusive users. Yet, it's a hard thing to like, if that unethical or that bad design decision is deep within your business strategy and your company's strategy, it's hard to undo that.
