When I was five, I was raped by another man. When I was eight, my brother went to prison for four and a half years from doing drugs. There was no chemistry with my parents growing up. For me, there wasn't really this healthy environment growing up. And of course, I was in a middle class suburban white neighborhood mostly. So I had that, but my inner ghetto was taking over.
