Are Black Carabbean Pupils More Likely to Be Excluded?

Young black and black caribbean pupils often face negative stereotypes about a their violence or aggression, says Professor Clare cameron. Children who report low school connectedness age seven are more likely to be excluded at age 14 according to new research. Only one % of teachers in our schools are black carabbean, two percent black, and only one per cent of head teachers are black.
