The Importance of Cleanliness

In verse 35, whether oven or stove, it shall be broken in pieces. So do modern day Jews still live by this? I mean, if they find a carcass under their stove, do they literally throw it out? You know, not to my knowledge. But again, theologically, do not bend the New Testament to your will, to your preference.
