Aman: Clothing is going to be a proxy for racial othering, in both directions. I don't think it's a coincidence that we're talking about a moment at which there is rising jingoism in the united states. There is tons of anti asian sentiment. And if you look an 19 forty three, there were riots a against black and brown people in other cities. A min just either way, it's going to kind of get politicized in that way.
