Christianity in Europe in the 15th Century
Even by the mid-15th century, Christianity in Europe is very weak and divided. You've got a lot of Republican city states, famously Florence with the Medici but Venice as well. France becomes an imperial power and again becoming centralized around its administration. The Tudors are being too much away on the margins here. They're not really big players even in that European game of power politics.
