Powlput Is Still There, but It's Not an Outright Number.
If we see a run up in equity volatility, which only occurs when stocks sell off, that in and of itself will tighten financial conditions. So i'm less concerned about the incremental rate hiks per se and how they translate through to financial conditions. And i'm more worried about whether or not record, or mer record high equity prices are able to absorb a fed that has gone from being extremely accommodative to moving for with a slightly tighter policy stamped.
