The people of knowledge are those who go out of their way to understand what the Qur'an and the Sun are talking about, says Al-Maliki. While you are doing a rindal-jami-ri, according to all of the scholars, they are not considered Fikk or in the ranks of the scholars. And of course, within themselves, the people of knowledge, they are all of the same rank, they differ amongst themselves of different levels.
