Is Content Moderation a New Concept?
In the early days of the internet, content moderation was not really seen as a political issue. There was actually a 1996 law called the Communications Decency Act that gave online platforms immunity for what their users post. Now conservatives are coming out and taking it as political oppression or seeing this as an attack on free speech.
