The Importance of Embedded Systems
Mike: I designed a pretty much a sensor array that had a mobile application associated with it. It was more of a demo application of course, but I think it really brought everything together that we learned plus made me learn Android development and a little bit of Bluetooth communication protocol. What's super interesting is that people don't really think about embedded systems much. They just think of these little systems like a microwave control panel. And there's a lot of little intricate systems that go and talk to the more general systems which are our computers and our phones.
