What Kind of Impact Did Meeting the Japanese Prisoners of War Have on You?
The vast majority of prisoners of war of the Japanese had nightmares for many years afterwards. Some found it difficult to relate to their children because they'd never seen them before. The scars ran quite deeply as one son said his dad survived a nuclear weapon in Nagasaki so he won the war but he was so unhappy when he got home that he lost the peace.
