The 60 Scoop
The term "60 scoop" came about from a social worker in 19 60. She said, were removing these kids no reason, and we're placing them into homes about which we know nothing. And now we have kids, i'm calling it the foster care scoop, cause teir kids are being removed at the same rate. It's basically some foster family who wants to keep the child permanently because they think that they can raise an indigenous child better than their indigenous family or community can.
