Kurt and Courtney's Custody Scare
Five days after Francis was born, Kurt and Courtney were in the news again. Someone had gotten hold of Courtney's hospital records and faxed them to the LA Times. It meant the Los Angeles welfare authorities were now threatening to take custody of Francis. Welfare authorities placed Francis with other relatives. In March of 1993, when Francis was nearly seven months old, she was finally returned to her parents.
