Small Businesses and Nonprofits Aren't Going to Work With Independent Contractors
Small businesses and small organizations who work with independent contractors, they don't have the resources to kind of go into these large class action lawsuits. They would probably be most likely to not be able to extend all of those contracting positions into employment positions if they were impacted by this role. If we look at IRS data from since 2001 small and low wage firms so under 20 employees have seen the highest growth and independent contractors between 2001 and 2016.
