The idea was here that what catholics in chile were trying to argue, and i don't think this was unique to chile, was that the effort of some members of the eugenic community to try and purposely keep them out of the discussion is actually a perversion m of a much longer standing reality about how science and religion always tend to function together. And when they function together, they both function better,. Because, i'm ultimately, what both are about is the revelation of truth and the revelation of how the world works - right? So that's really, to me, kind of the issue here, is that it's, im they're trying to create a new space
