Is Batching Really Streamlining?

One of my favorite systems that i think really everyone should implement is called batching. The concept is doing similar activities all all grouped o women te so let's say, in an average week, you write memos, you write emals, you have meetings and you meet with clients, write. Instead of doing these things just sort of randomly, one after each other, on any given monday, you would say, hey, i'm going to batch my days. So it's batching work.
