The Freedom Caucus vs the Republican Caucus

Kevin McCarthy has been pushed so much by the freedom caucus folks that, again, they feel like the establishment is spitting in their face. They are taken for granted and they realize that they had a margin where they could say, listen, we're doing single topic bills now. We need to have 72-hour reading periods. There's a lot of like kind of procedural stuff. I would describe it as a tea party fever dream. Some of the stuff has not even been on the radar since 2014 and it's back and they got all of it because Kevin McCarthy was really the only choice Republicans had.
