The Negative Effects of Deforestation on the Environment
A lot of this industry has a lot of players from the big green conservation organizations like Environmental Defense Fund that World Resources Institute. We've even seen examples where the nature conservancy, one of the big advocates, is selling offsets based on the conservation of a big forest tract in the US southeast. So they're getting way more things like this. And then there's so many other things where you stop the deforestation in one place, but the forest industry is still there. It just goes across to the next, across the border to the next state and invest there in its destruction.
